Can anybody suggest me a good hospital / doctor specialized in varicose veins and hemorrhoid (piles) treatment in Kerala / South India? I am suffering from both and looking for a non-surgical treatment.
Thank you.

I used wrong bottle of nail polish remover, put little on cotton ball and it stung terribly. Washed off right away, but worry I did more damage.
Ouch! I doubt it will do any permanent damage. It will just sting for a bit. Take a bath to soothe it, and put the regular stuff on after.

serious answers please…Hemorrhoids….What is the fastest best relief?
Talk to your pharmacist and ask for a recommendation– they have proctofoam (is given to moms after childbirth for pain related to the inflammation of hemmorhoids after childbirth)– sitz baths will help (little bit of warm water in the bottom of the tub, or a nice sprinkle if you have a bidet) make sure you stay NOT constipated, so a natural laxative to keep your stool soft– Tucks pads help as well–
Otherwise there are several over the counter medications to try and different things work for different people–
If the over the counter products are not working, or if you have very large hemorrhoids you will need to see your physician– (you need to tell them anyway, but it may necessitate a visit for this specific problem)– Surgery is drastic, but they do hemorrhoidectomies frequently–
I hope you are feeling better soon– people laugh and really underestimate the severe pain and discomfort that comes with hemorrhoids– it can be debilitating.

My relative is going to remove hemorrhoids through surgery but I think it will be risky. I want to know is it safe method or not.
Hemorrhoids surgery is not complicated one. Many individuals are cured with non-surgical treatments but many are resistant to them. Non-surgical remedies work but in advanced stages, surgical treatments are recommended for surgery. Clot removal is a small procedure and the recovery time is very less in this uncomplicated simple surgical procedure.

Would be good if i can hear what is effective hemorrhoid treatment for pregnant woman?
Hemorrhoid Treatment
While pregnant women and people who hold jobs that involve a lot of sitting do make up a great amount of people who get Hemorrhoids, the number one cause is constipation and the number one cause of constipation is your diet. When it comes to your health, one thing directly affects another and so on and because of that, we really must start at the root of a problem. In this case, your diet is extremely important. It is best to eat foods that contain a good amount of fiber and if that isn’t possible, there are a great deal of different fiber supplements that are available and make it easier to have regular bowel movements. It is also very important to drink at least 6 glasses of water per day to keep you regular and in good health.

Hi,
I am being diagnosed with Hemorrhoids. My stools are not bloody. But doc says hemorrhoids are present. What should I do to cure them?
Please suggest any diet or any home remedies?
How do they effect general digestion of a person?
Hemorrhoids are caused by you straining when you have a bowel movement, or with your stool being too hard & tearing the skin.
Once you have hemorrhoids you have to learn to live with them & change your diet so your stools are softer.
You live with them by keeping your anus clean via wipes like Tucks & creams like Preparation H. This helps them to heal, as long as you don’t strain or have a hard stool. You never really get rid of them.
You change your diet by eating MORE fiber – whole grains, fruits, vegetables & LESS processed foods – frozen dinners, packaged desserts, pre-made foods in just about any form.
Hemorrhoids have NOTHING to do with your digestion system.
I suggest you buy a donut pillow to sit on, a cookbook so you can try making a lot more of your own food instead of buying it pre-made & shopping at a farmer’s market for fresh food every weekend.
Enjoy !!!

I have a prolapsed internal hemorrhoid and plan to see a Dr. soon about it but was curious what the difference is? The description I have read online sound the same except one is from external and the other is from internal hemmies. Thanks!
Also, about a year ago my hemm. gave me a few days of moderate pain and bleeding. What caused this? Did it burst or something. I didn’t think anything of it except that I wanted relief from the pain but I let it heal on it’s own. Thanks!
I think the condition is actually called strangulated hemorrhoid, and as far as I understand it, the strangulated hemorrhoid is a prolapsed hemorrhoid (an internal hemorrhoid which has pushed through the anal opening) who has the blood supply cut off by the anal sphincter.
A thrombosed hemorrhoid is an external hemorrhoid, so it develops outside the lower rectum from the beginning, and it’s defined by a hard lump or swelling formed by a blood clot.
The condition you are describing points indeed to the conclusion that your hemorrhoid ruptured. This is quite common and it happens when the blood pressure in the veins increases, which leads to stress and ruptures. The high blood pressure was most probably caused by a sudden movement, stretchering, increased heart beat or something similar.
Hope this helps

Where the hemorrhoids occur and what is the common reason for the cause of hemorrhoids.
Hemorrhoids are found at the junction of the rectum and the anus. It is the cushions of tissue that contain blood vessels that can be found at the rectum and anal junction. The factors that cause Hemorrhoids are chronic constipation, lack of water, lack of fiber content in your body and excess dairy product.

okay i know i have them but i cant go to the doctor as im only 15. theres no way in hell im telling my mum or dad and i cant go to a pharmacy by myself as its too far.
is there anything i can do at home to make them go?
or if i leave them will they go by themselves?
Just tell your mom even though it’s embarassing. She can go get you Prep H from the drugstore. If you REALLY can’t bring yourself to do that, if you have witch hazel at home put some on a cotton ball and press it onto the hemorrhoid.

Lots of high fiber foods or take fiber supplements. Be sure you are also drinking alot of water. Staying regular will help prevent Hemorrhoids.
