hey ladies i am 37 weeks with hemorrhoids wow does ot hurt..what should i use for relief?? o yea is this norm?

Sunday, March 14th, 2010

I know you said hey ladies but….

• Apply an ice pack (with a soft covering) to the affected area several times a day. Ice may help decrease swelling and discomfort. Some women find cold compresses saturated with witch hazel to be soothing.

• Soak your bottom in warm water, in a tub or a sitz bath. A sitz bath is small plastic basin that you fill with water and position over your toilet, allowing you to submerge your rectal area simply by sitting down.

• Try alternating cold and warm treatments. Start with an ice pack followed by a warm sitz bath.

• Gently but thoroughly clean the affected area after each bowel movement using soft, unscented, white toilet tissue, which causes less irritation than colored, scented varieties. Moistening the tissue can help, too. Many women find using pre-moistened wipes more comfortable than using toilet tissue. You can buy medicated wipes (such as Tucks) made specifically for people with hemorrhoids.

• Ask your healthcare practitioner to recommend a safe topical anesthetic or medicated suppository. There are many hemorrhoid-relief products on the market, but consult your practitioner before trying one on your own. Most of these products should be used for a short course of treatment only (a week or less). Continued use can cause even more inflammation.

If your own preventive and relief efforts don’t help — or if you notice bleeding — consult your doctor or midwife.

Early hemorrhoid treatment to reduce size/swelling?

Friday, March 12th, 2010

As of two days ago, I now have internal hemorrhoids with no symptoms others than protrusion when I "squeeze" (for lack of a better term). No bleeding, no discoloration, etc… Actually, no discomfort at all, until I try to use the bathroom… I was reading that "rue oil" may be effective at reducing the size? Has anyone used, or know anyone who has used this method? Any other options/personal knowledge on the issue? I am very young to be going through this (22) and if there is ANY known non-surgical way to decrease the size, I would be extremely grateful. Thanks.

Go to the doctor and get a prescription for proctofoam (i think I spelled it right) It is a foam you put up your old address for lack of better terms. Works ok but get two containers.

Crohn’s Disease….any relief?

Friday, March 12th, 2010

About a month ago, i was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, and i’ve been going through so much just dealing with it. Constant cramps, bowel movements, and the development of painful hemorrhoids. I can hardly fall asleep at night having this pain in my rectum. I’m currently on pentasa for the CD, and on a diet more filled with fiber and hydration, and using ointments to help with my hemorrhoids, yet, i’ve been also dropping weight….i’m worried as to what might happen next if all doesnt get better…

Hey, I’ve had crohn’s since I was 8, which also took 4 years to diagnose and I’m now 16.

Try not to stress about anything, it can aggrevate your symptoms. I was on many different medications just to make it managable, which wasn’t working in my case, bare in mind it can take a few weeks to notice the benefits from your meds. They said they were going to have to operate on my ulcers and bowel in general, it doesn’t cure you but it gives you alot less pain if it’s so severe. It’s all uphill until you are past the first few months like the other guy said, they are the worst, then it’s all about keeping it as best you can, and until then it’s very difficult to control. Try to do things to relax, when I have an episode of cramps etc I like to read or just listen to a couple of songs on my iPod or try to sleep. Some friends in hospital i’ve met over the years used to paint, since it’s the most relaxing therapy. Anything which takes your mind off it as best you can is great. Good luck, and remember it probably won’t get worse than it is now, only better. =o) Don’t hold back from calling your doctor if your pain gets worse, they are there to help and make you well again.

Internal Hemorrhoids? Doctor necessary?

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

yesterday when i wiped after passing a stool, there was some bright red blood on the tissue paper. Since then, it has not been bloody, but the inside is a little itchy. I’m pretty sure it is hemorrhoids, though it doesn’t hurt at all.

Are hemorrhoids reoccurring? for instance, once you get them, are you doomed for life? like herpes?

Should i see a doctor or should i wait it out for a while?

I bought some of that "Rue’s Care Oil" natural hemorrhoid treatment so hopefully that will work.

Also, there is no big one that comes out, and it isn’t painful to pass stools yet, though i am careful of pushing hard cause i don’t want to irritate it if it is one.

eat fibers enriched foods like vegetables, fruits, oatmeals, wheat and others.
If symptoms persist, consult a surgeon

Testicle and Anal itching. How Do I Relieve it?

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

I’ve had itching for quite a while now and not only do I have itching in the areas listed above, but it sometimes on my knees and it ITCHES LIKE HELL!!! I’ve tried Vaseline lotion, and baby powder. Doesn’t seem to be working. I’ve also tried Hydrocortisone Cream 1% with aloe and Hemorrhoids Relief. It could be me or I need to wait a little while. I’ve had itching for about a week and a half. This may sound disgusting but I have hair in my anus, could that be the problem too? If so, is it possible to shave it or something?

have crabs? lice?
Could be an allergy.
Check out celiac disease, allergy to wheat and gluten, includes bread, cereals, cake, cookies, beer.
I would use an antihistamine. I use chlotrimeton, 4 mg. makes me tired, but works better than claritin and such for itch relief. Some people use benadryl, but that is also what they use in sleeping pills, so that is much more drowsying than chlortrimeton, use the generic.
you should get itch relief in 20 minutes, if not you might have bugs.

what are the other treatments for hemorrhoids?

Monday, March 8th, 2010

3 days ago i had constipation
and it hurts i wipe my butt and got some blood in it, i cleaned it with soap and put some ointment
i told my mom about it and she said eat a lof of Apricot and drink water which i did

and this morning i had a diareah but no bloood
and now im having hard time pooping again >.<

do i have anything to worry about or i have to go to the doctor..

and any more tips on how to get my poop soft?

thank you

Have a blended drink made of 1 to 2 cups oatmeal or bran with enough fresh water to make it less thick, add sugar and berries to make it more palatable. Milk thistle is a natural herb in pill form, available without prescription, safe, and not too pricey. Follow directions, there is no overdose level, may take a few days to show results.Drink lots of water throughout the day. Eat a can of beans a day, make this a regular habit. For the future, ask your mom to give you more bread/pasta/ rice/cereal/ vegetable dinners, and A LOT less meat, cheese, other dairy foods, they cause constipation !

i think i have internal Hemorrhoids? how do i treat this?

Monday, March 8th, 2010

when i went to the bathroom i had blood on the toilet paper and in the toilet bowl after the bowel movement. this happened friday night after a night of drinking (beer only). and it happen today again but not as bad as friday night. i havent done nything to treat this other than drinking more water and trying to get more fiber in…

tonight i stuck my finger in a little bit (my butt) and i felt something. i dont now how to explain it but i guess it felt a bulge. and there was blood on my finger. could this be a bulge vein or fisure? i do a lot of sitting during the day and i heard thats not good for this. i also intake caffeine during the day and sometimes a lot. and a few beers during the week….

what should i do to treat this? i know goin to a doctor is the easy answer but i want to try to treat this b4 going. i had this happen earlier in the year and it cleared up iin a week…. i believe this to be internal hemroids. are there any oinments to buy at the drug store
only serious answers

Good news. You’re ok. Time to time, I have the same thing and it’s a hemorhoid. Most always the day after a night of boozin’. Thing I’ve found that works the best is Tucks pads.

My doctor knows about it and he’s not concerned.

I’ve never gone the Preparation H route.

hemorrhoids – any home remedies for easing the discomfort?

Monday, March 8th, 2010

I just gave birth on Thursday and I had the above problem during my pregnancy.

It now seems to have got worse (what with all the pushing out of baby it must put some pressure in the back area also).

So do any mums have some home remedies for this? I’m just using Anusol at the moment but I’m always interested in alternative pain relief.

Thank u :-)

Oh, Anusol does nothing at all, well for me anyway. I find germaloids suppositories to be really effective in a short space of time. I was also getting bowel spasms so started taking fybogel to keep me regular. This stopped the pains very quickly too which were like being in labour again! Hope this helps, congratulations on the birth of your baby :-)

What are the Top Options for Hemorrhoids Treatments?

Saturday, March 6th, 2010

I’m not talking about any surgeries…

It’s funny I swooping through and saw this. I was researching for a friend because he had been missing time at work and his hemorrhoids had gotten so painful that he was considering surgery.

I went through a couple of dozens pages on numerous products that suppose to do this and do that.

What I usually do is find a product that interest me and start researching the product in the forum. Go to Google and type your topic and then follow by forums like this "hemorrhoids+Forums".

You see Randy these are people that have true experience and are not given some junk testimony for a sales page that the product owner is trying to convince you with. It is like the STAR athlete saying that "this particular deodorant stop his under arms from wetting".

Well I search what people had to say on those forums and I found that most of them had excellent results following the online recording of couple treatments propose doing the recording NOT just one. I told my friend about it and he was walking pretty good in about two weeks after trying this options that was propose on the recording.

The online recording offers a couple of solutions that I found the majority of the hemorrhoids forums members tried with true success in a couple of weeks. What every you do Randy do not have surgery, ooooch..

the blood is bright red

I hope it is not a rectal cancer. If the bleeding continues have it checked. If you cannot go to a doctor have a friend or neighbor look in there to be sure. Good luck.

what can I do about hemorrhoids?

Saturday, March 6th, 2010

I have gotten my first one, it is pretty sore and annoying. I have researched quite a bit about them but would appreciate some relief strategies from others who have them. I am not constipated, i eat plenty of fiber but i have frequent bowel movements everyday, sometimes 3 a day. From what I have researched, this is the issue causing them. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Tucks cream and tucks pads with the cream has always helped me the most, and sitz bath as stated before. Cut down on your fiber so you won’t have so many BM’S in one day, this only keeps them irritated.

Cure Hemorrhoids Naturally and Permanently

Friday, March 5th, 2010

http://bit.ly/7vasKb or http://mybestproductreviews.com/hemorrhoids/

What a good natural hemorrhoid cure is and is not.

First, a guide that teaches natural hemorrhoid cures is NOT the only thing you need to cure hemorrhoids. You also need to take the time to learn what these guides teach and then implement them in your own life. If you do this, in many cases you can cure hemorrhoids in as little as 48 hours.

Second, NOT everyone needs a hemorrhoid cure. If you aren’t sure what hemorrhoids are, and can’t properly diagnose the problem in the first place, then you may be trying to cure something you don’t have anyway. A natural cure is best suited for those who have suffered hemorrhoids either more than once, or for a prolonged period of time (more than a few weeks).

Third, a Natural Hemorrhoid Cure IS the best way to get rid of hemorrhoids quickly and permanently. Better yet, with a holistic cure you won’t suffer the side effects that many Hemorrhoid medications can have. Some hemorrhoid medications are actually quite scary when you look further into what you are putting on your body. A guide to curing them naturally takes the scary out of the cure!

Fourth, if you don’t take the time to choose the right natural hemorrhoid cure you’re likely just wasting your money anyway. Worse than that, if you get bad advice your natural cure might just make you ill! Choosing the right guide to curing hemorrhoids naturally is the most important part to your success.

To help answer this question fully, along with a group of hemorrhoid sufferers we took the time to test the top hemorrhoid cures on the market today. We rated each guide on the following aspects:

* Natural Cure – One of our largest factors in rating the guides that we evaluated was that they were actually natural cures. With some of the guides we tested, they were marketed as natural; but the treatments they suggested weren’t natural at all. Higher ratings were given to guides that were all-natural in their treatment methods.
* Hemorrhoid Treatment – Obviously our next criteria was could the methods suggested actually cure hemorrhoids. We actually found a large range in effectiveness across all of the guides we evaluated.
* Speed of Treatment – From our last point, for those that could cure hemorrhoids, how quickly did it work? Higher ratings were given to the guides that taught how to cure hemorrhoids quickly.
* Permanent Cure – Next, we rated each guide on how long the cure lasted. We were looking for hemorrhoid cures, and higher ratings were given to guides that taught us how to cure them and not just treat the sores temporarily.
* Safety of Treatment – Were the methods taught safe? This was actually a large factor in our ratings as we found a few guides that weren’t safe at all (these didn’t make it anywhere near the top three).
* Value for the Money – Finally, we rated each hemorrhoid cure based on value. With some of the guides we tested costing as much as $200, we wanted to ensure that we got our money’s worth. Luckily the top three guides didn’t cost anywhere near that number.
* Overall Rating – From all of the factors we rated each cure on, we gave each one an overall rating. read more click http://tinyurl.com/ydxsk39
